another snow day!

This will mark day 3 of staying inside due to the freezing temps and piles of snow drifts outside. Elijah is wild and really needing some fresh air.... He figured out how to get his hand behind the child proof kitchen cupboard to feel around for the dish soap.. he then pulled one soap square out at a time and began to fill the dishwasher.... he has now figured out how to lift the baby gate up and lock it! Thanks goodness he cant open it yet!

We might be crazy but despite the -20 windchill, Josh and I are venturing out to take E to the play area at the mall. This Boy needs to get out!!!!

Happy snow day all!

ITS BEEN ONE YEAR!

wow its been an entire year since i updated our blog..... SOOOO much has happened!
One of my goals is to log my thoughts and the excitement of our life on this blog.... i need to get better at doing that! FOR REAL! I need to come to a point where Netflicks ruling my free time!! Law and Order SVU you have wasted way to many hours of my life!

Josh and I are doing Great, life is finally looking bright again. We have been in a fog for some time.
SLCC (the church we are at) is growing and people are growing in their walks with the Lord. The youth have really started to to grasp personal relationships with Jesus.

I have been enjoying beginning to master photoshop.... Creating really is something i LOVE doing! My photography business is growing and keeping me busy. I LOVE staying home with my baby boy E, who is not so much a baby anymore!

Elijah is in to EVERYTHING! He spends his days talking, dancing, running, going on play dates, kindermusik, and getting out of his toddler bed.

We are loving this stage in our life, and tho exhausted - falling into bed at night, joy fills our hearts watching E grow and discover new things everyday!

stay tuned for more stories! :) There are lots of them!

Baby fat must go!

man let me tell you, there are some ladies who have a baby and then three days later you look at them and say.. whos baby do you have because clearly you did not just pop out a kid!! ha! great for those lucky ones, but for me... its been 6 months and one could question if i still have a child in my belly!!

Soooo... the blog begins.. baby fat good-bye. Day one. no sweating activity.but i did consume healthy food and plenty of water.i am already dreaming about peanut butter cups on top of creamy ice cream... ok like my josh said...

"no food tastes as good as being thin feels" (remember my definition on thin is fitting into my pre-prego pants!)

the start of Winter in Nebraska

It feels like the first of October, yesterday Josh was wearing his flip-flops while we walked. Elijah did not need a coat, and I marveled at the sight of Christmas lights and no snow on the trees around us. We are loving our new family and home here in Papillion.

Elijahs Grandma took he and i to Florida this past week. As his toes touched the cold ocean water, he looked up at me and smiled! He loves the ocean and the warm warm weather.... thats my boy!! after a few too many pictures he got his pout lip out. Thanks grandma for a great trip!! We are now back at home.... I am wondering how long it will be until he starts sleeping for more than 4 hours at a time... and taking longer then 30 minute naps.... tired is a state of being for mommy!

OCTOBER 17th 2009

Well... its been a crazy few months! We have our sweet little baby boy Elijah James Keller. He was born weighing 9 lbs and 11 oz, and standing (or laying) 20 3/4 inches.

Currently he is weighing in at 15 and 1/2 pounds and standing (laying) 25 inches tall! Our big angel is in the 97% for his age.

We bought a home in Papillion Nebraska- where Josh got his new job at Shadow Lake Community Church.

Fall is in full bloom and the weather is perfect here. We do miss being close to our family and close friends... but Omaha is only a few minutes from our house... and its a great place to visit!!!!!!
